Yes, I am still working on the Spiderman Archives set. I am having fun working on them! It's giving me a chance to experiment with a more comic style of drawing. I'm using multiliners, Copics, and white gel pens (highlights) for all the cards. And it's also giving me a chance to break away from using references for a bit.
BUT, I'm not feeling "at home". I really love doing realism pieces. Portraits especially. And I would really love the chance to show what I can do with the colored pencils more. Once I finished with the Spidey cards, and also my commissions, I was going to start on a couple larger color portrait pieces. Probably pulling from the cast of Heroes (YES! I am HOOKED!).
I'm having fun playing with the Copics, A LOT!! But I want to work with the pencils again, and do more realism.
Ok. Got to get back to work. Inking Ironman and Captain America now. They're calling me back again. LOL! "Jen! We're being ignored here!!"
EDIT: Which style would you guys prefer to see from me? Would you prefer to see me work on developing a comic looking style, doing more inking, and marker work? Or would you prefer that I continue to develop my realism, possibly using markers as well as the Prismacolor pencils?
